The Youth & Family Programs at Battlefield Academy KC are built on one belief: safety education and tactical discipline should be accessible to every family, regardless of background or experience. These programs are designed to be age-appropriate, engaging, and grounded in the same values that define Spartan Protection KC — discipline, integrity, and community.
From firearm safety for teenagers to family archery days, our youth programs create a structured environment where young people learn responsibility, focus, and confidence. Parents are encouraged to participate alongside their children — these are family experiences, not just classes.

Available Programs
What We Offer
Junior Firearms Safety
Ages 12–17A structured introduction to firearm safety for teenagers. Covers safe handling, storage, and the legal and ethical responsibilities of gun ownership. Parent participation required for ages 12–14.
1 Day (6 hrs)
Youth Archery
Ages 8–17Our most popular youth program. Students learn proper form, focus, and discipline through archery. Progressive curriculum from beginner to advanced. All equipment provided.
6-Week Series
Family Archery Day
All AgesA fun, guided archery experience for the whole family. No experience needed. Instructors lead the session from start to finish. Great for first-timers and a memorable family outing.
2 hrs
Family Firearms Safety
Ages 14+ with parentA family-focused firearms safety course covering safe storage, handling, and responsible ownership. Designed to open honest conversations about firearms in the home.
